Instructions

• 1). Locate wind-generated currents in the lake. Mussels require current in order to feed.
  
  
• 2). Use the fishing map to locate hard bottoms in and around the current areas you have found.
  
  
• 3). Drag a heavy jig along the hard bottom, feeling for bumps and catches. Those are mussel beds.
