Potter's Statement: [Lamps] are really fun to make, colors and styles can be anything you want...I made one lamp one piece, and another one [from] two pieces [I] attached.

Beth's Comment: I like the roundness with that interesting rope-like form girdling it. Although normally divisions that are made ion the center of a shape don't work, this one does because of the large (but lighter) lampshade above the base.
