How to Freeze Canned Fruit
- 1). Place your unsealed jars of canned fruit inside of a wood or plastic carton or container. The container needs to be small enough to fit in your freezer.
- 2). Surround the cans which newspapers or some type of small cloth blankets.
- 3). Add more newspaper to the top of the carton and then place it inside of your freezer.
- 4). Remove canned fruit from the freezer when you want to eat it, checking to be sure that the seal has remained intact. Defrost in the refrigerator and enjoy.
