How To Write Fast

1
Lots of people are always asking how is it possible to write, say, an article fast, instead of it taking them half-an-hour or longer.

1 Keep a list. Start with a list of ideas and topics and keep it topped up. As you use up topics from the top, be adding to the bottom of the list continuously. Don't hang around waiting for inspiration. That only leads to frustration. Get your ideas and topics list from anywhere you can. You can deliberately hunt them
down across the internet or just keep noting them during your normal work pattern. But you need to keep doing it as it's part of the writing.

2 Use popular formats. For example, there's numbering the points or listing ideas and writing about each. Whatever you do, don't wait. Hesitation kills your writing. In fact, don't even think. Use your intuition and instincts, and, of course, your knowledge. The aim is to keep writing - not musing or considering. Never try to write a literary or academic piece as people don't care about you. They just want the information, then they might think about you afterwards.

3 Idea formatting. If you're still stuck, even with your list, then reformat your ideas by drawing a mindmap or a diagram. Put the main idea in the centre and have ideas coming off it. Or do a sub-list of your listed idea to get ideas to do with it for your paragraphs. Again, don't wait around as action is everything in this case.

4 Keep moving. So you've finished an article or chapter or whatever. Give yourself a pat on the back and keep moving on. Don't stop to muse on your great written piece but get onto the next one. Obviously, you need to check it over at some point but the principle remains that if you hesitate, your thoughts and feelings will drift, and you'll forget what you were going to do. Rather, actually get it done.
