How to Carpet Your Subwoofer Box
- 1). Measure your subwoofer box along all sides. Cut a piece of carpet to fit each side of the box. Don't worry about holes in the box at this point, just cut the carpet to cover the whole side.
- 2). Remove the subwoofer from the box, and set it aside. Spray one side of the box with spray adhesive and carefully place the corresponding carpet piece onto that side. Smooth any bubbles or inconsistencies quickly before the adhesive dries.
- 3). Repeat the same process for each side of the box. Cut off excess at the sides and corners using your utility knife.
- 4). Locate the hole where you removed the subwoofer, and make a cut from the center to the outside edge of the hole with the utility knife. Follow the inside if the hole with the blade and cut the carpet all the way around the hole.
- 5). Replace your subwoofer and connect it according to the manufacturer's instructions.
