How to Clean Sink Faucets
- 1). Pour undiluted white vinegar into a spray bottle. Spray the vinegar generously over the faucet. Spray one to two paper towels with the vinegar, and lay them over the faucet. Allow the paper towels to remain on the faucet for 30 minutes to loosen hard water deposits.
- 2). Remove the paper towels from the faucet and discard. Rub the faucet with a damp cloth to remove water marks. Scrub the base of the faucet, next to the sink, with an old toothbrush to remove dirt and grime that becomes trapped between the faucet base and the sink.
- 3). Rinse the faucet with a clean sponge and cool water. Dry the faucet with a clean towel or cloth.
