Pally Leveling Build - Quest and Tank Your Way to Eighty
Looking for the best Pally leveling build to take you to eighty? Well you're in the right place! This Retribution spec will let you both solo level and tank instances (just toss a shield and Righteous Fury on!), giving you the quickest leveling speed possible! So we'll discuss which talents to take, when to take them, and why you're taking them.
We'll also talk about Major and Minor Glyph choices! 5/5 Benediction - You'll notice that mana is your biggest downtime causer, so every bit helps 2/2 Imp.
Judgments - More damage and eventually, more mana 2/2 Imp.
Blessing of Might - More damage for you (and party members) 1/3 Heart of the Crusader - Crit is handy but we need other things more 2/2 Pursuit of Justice - Travel from mob to mob faster; very very nice 3/5 Conviction - We'll need to finish this soon, but for now move on 3/3 Crusade - Boring damage buff talent 2/3 Sanctity of Battle - And another! 1/1 Sanctified Retribution - More damage (and threat, in instances) 3/3 Two-handed Weapon Spec - More damage 3/3 Sanctity of Battle - Finish it up now 5/5 Conviction - More crit, and access to Vengeance 3/3 Vengeance - Should stay up fairly often, Ret has lots of crit talents 3/3 Judgments of the Wise - This will eliminate most downtime, greatly improving leveling speed 2/2 Art of War - You won't even need to stop to heal.
1/1 Repentance - Needed for Fanatacism, and handy for instances and big pulls (and a break for healing yourself while fighting elites) 3/3 Fanaticism - More damage and Vengeance will be up much more 1/2 Sanctified Wrath - Filler talent at this point 1/1 Crusader Strike - Finally, another button to press! Oh, and more damage.
3/3 Sheath of Light - All your spell-based stuff is now better; very nice damage and healing buff 1/3 Swift Retribution - Nice party damage buff but wait to finish it 3/3 Righteous Vengeance - Rets high crit rate means this is a big buff 3/3 Swift Retribution - Get the rest of this talent now, and finish up Retribution tree with...
1/1 Divine Storm - Another attack; this one's your highest priority.

5/5 Divine Strength - Straightforward enough buff 5/5 Seals of the Pure - More damage (and threat for tanking, since seals are holy damage) 2/2 Guardian's Favor - An improvement to your 'emergency buttons' 3/5 Anticipation - A little more tanking ability, but mostly filler to reach...

Righteous Fury - Great for tanking, and great for solo work At this point you should go get a real spec; this Pally leveling build isn't optimal for any endgame activities.
Now on to Glyphs.
Here are worthwhile Major Glyphs: Divine Storm - If you need a bit more healing, get this.
Otherwise stick with the other two (you'll only have 2 slots maximum while leveling) Righteousness - Pushes Righteousness above Seal of Command for single target damage, making it better for soloing (hence why we skipped Seal of Command) Judgment - A basic 10% damage buff to a key ability (that eventually will be critting most of the time) As for Minor Glyphs: Might Lay on Hands Sense Undead The rest are almost completely worthless; these at least are a little useful.
