Online Business Opportunities Are Not Always Worth the Effort
A very nice lady called me this week to ask about my online business opportunity with a view to taking a look, I always ask people who want to take a look at my opportunity a few questions upfront so we do not waste each others time, and also because I like to listen out for the desire that people have to make a business work.
One of the answers she gave me really hit home and made me think about all the people out there in the same position as her.
I wanted to know what experience she had, so I asked her what she had been doing up to now? she then went on to tell me that she had been in multi level marketing for five years with the same company, impressive I thought, she has commitment, then I asked her about her team and she went on to tell me that her team was all over the world and totaled 4500 people.
Wow, I told her how impressed I was that she had stuck to her plan, and even more impressed that she had so many people in her team, a lot more than I have ever had in any team online.
Then I had to ask the obvious question, why on earth are you calling me? You are so successful, you have worked hard for five years and built up a massive team of people, you must be earning great money! Then she came back to me with her bombshell, I have built a large team yes, and it has taken me five years yes, but it is the money, I am earning £800 per month.
Well, I nearly fell off my chair, I could not believe that she was only earning £800 per month after five years with such a large team.
That got me thinking, there must be many people in the same place, great at networking, with a great work ethic and lots of commitment who are sitting in the wrong opportunity, or about to start in wrong online business opportunity.
There are opportunities out there where you can earn a very high income in year 1, and start earning a good income in month 1, but you have to look for them.
When you are evaluating online business opportunities, do your homework before you start, look through the compensation plan, if you do not understand it, do not start, you would not start a job before you knew how much you were going to be paid, would you? Pick wisely and evaluate properly when you are looking to start in business!
