Get Some Exercise
Although the thought of exercising might sound exhausting if you're a couch potato, the fact is that people who are in good shape have higher energy levels than those that don't.
It might sound counter-intuitive, but expending energy makes you feel livelier (up to a point - you obviously don't want to overdo it).
And the best thing is, you don't need to wait until you're super-fit to gain the benefits of regular exercise - you start to feel better right away! So make a commitment to include some form of exercise that you enjoy as part of your regular routine - just a daily walk around the block can help to keep your energy levels up for the rest of the day.

Breathe Deeply
How well do you breathe? Unless you have asthma or some other breathing-related disorder, chances are you haven't given it much thought before.
But by making an effort to breathe deeply, right from your diaphragm, you can change how you feel quite dramatically.
This will probably take some effort and conscious thought at first, because most people are shallow breathers - they only breathe from their chests, and as a result their lungs don't fill with air as much as they might.

The third method for raising your energy is brainwave entrainment.
This is probably not as familiar as the other tips, but it's just as easy.
Brainwave entrainment for energy enhancement basically involves listening to a recording that's designed to help your brain and body to relax deeply.
This type of recording contains sounds of specific frequencies.
Brainwave entrainment - which is also known as brainwave synchronization or brainwave stimulation - works because the brain has a natural tendency to match the frequencies of the sounds it is hearing, if they're repetitive in nature.
So when it's exposed to an 8Hz sound for example, the brain will normally begin to produce brainwaves with a frequency of 8Hz.
This is useful for increasing your energy, because you can use brainwave entrainment to guide your brain into the delta brainwave band, where it produces brainwaves with frequencies in the 0.
5 - 4 Hz range.
These very slow waves are produced every night when you enter the deep sleep part of the sleep cycle, and are associated with rest and cellular rejuvenation.
By using a brainwave recording to spend additional time in the delta state during the day, you can experience some of the same benefits.
Simply put - your energy levels increase and you feel great, just as when you have a really restful night's sleep.
There are three main types of brainwave stimulation recording - binaural beats, monaural beats and isochronic tones.
Although isochronic tones are generally the most effective, I recommend using binaural beats for delta work if you're not already familiar with the other types, as binaural sounds are thought to be more effective at these low frequencies.
