Scheduled Update

• 1). Download the latest version of iTunes and install it onto your computer.
  
  
• 2). Connect the iPod to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
  
  
• 3). Double-click on the iTunes icon and launch the software. iTunes checks the iPod's software and applies the scheduled update. Once the update is complete, "iPod Sync is Complete OK to disconnect" appears in the status pane.
  
  
• 4). Click the disconnect symbol next to the iPod name; remove the iPod from the USB cord.
  
  

Manual Update

• 1). Download the latest version of iTunes and install it onto your computer. Launch iTunes.
  
  
• 2). Connect the iPod to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
  
  
• 3). Click the iPod in the source pane, under "Devices."
  
  
• 4). Click the "Summary" tab in the iPod properties window on the right.
  
  
• 5). Click the "Update" button in the "Version" box in the iPod properties window. iTunes checks the iPod's software and applies the update. Once the update is complete, "iPod Sync is Complete OK to disconnect" appears in the status pane.
  
  
• 6). Click the disconnect symbol next to the iPod name; remove the iPod from the USB cord.
