Royal Time Clock Instructions
- 1). Insert the Royal time clock key into the right side key slot. Turn the key and swing the cover open to begin the programming and setup procedure.
- 2). Press the "Mode" button inside the time clock to set the hour. You'll notice that the hour display starts blinking. Press the "Setting" button until the clock shows the correct hour. Then press "Select" to confirm your choice. This illuminates the minute display.
- 3). Press "Setting" until the minute display is correct. Press "Select" to confirm the minute selection. Repeat the process for the seconds, month, day and year display. Press "Setting" to change the highlighted item, and then press "Select" to confirm.
- 4). Press "Mode" again until you see "P5" in the display screen. This lets you select your print method. Press "Setting," and toggle between "Automatic" and "Manual." Press "Select" to make your choice. Automatic mode automatically prints the time when the time card is inserted; when using manual mode, the user must press "Print." Press "Mode" when you are finished, and then close the front cover. You are now ready to use the Royal time clock.
- 5). Toggle the control knob on the front left side of the machine to choose whether you are clocking "In" or "Out." Insert the time card into the time card slot. Press "Print" to print the clock-in or clock-out time. If you chose "Automatic" mode, the printer automatically prints the time. Lift the card to remove it from the slot.
