How to Make an Aeroponic Bucket
- 1). Drill eighteen 1/32-inch holes into the tubing. Space the holes 2 inches apart.
- 2). Connect one end of the tubing to the water pump and set it inside the bucket. Coil the tubing around the inside of the bucket so the holes are facing towards the center and insert the end cap into the end of the tube.
- 3). Cut a 4-inch-diameter hole in the center of the bucket lid using your compass and utility knife. Cut a 1/2-inch-diameter hole through the lid so it is 1-inch away from the lid. This is for the pump's power cord.
- 4). Run the power cord through the 1/2-inch hole so when the lid is on the bucket it does not sag. Zip-tie the end cap on the tub to the power cord so it is close to the bucket lid.
- 5). Place the lid on the bucket so it seals. Pour your nutrient solution through the 4-inch hole and set your net-pot with the plant inside the 4-inch hole. Turn on the pump and place the system in your grow area.
