How to Convert 220 Volts to 110 Volts for the iPod Touch

    • 1). Place the 220 to 110 voltage conversion adapter (aka, "Step Down Transformer") next to a 220-volt outlet. Insert the adapter's power plug into the outlet.

    • 2). Insert the USB end of an iPod USB cable into the USB socket on the iPod charger. Insert the other end of the iPod USB cable into the proprietary socket on the bottom of the iPod Touch.

    • 3). Plug the iPod charger into the 110-volt outlet on the adapter to charge the battery in the iPod Touch.

    • 4). Unplug the iPod charger from the adapter, and the adapter from the wall outlet, when the battery has been charged. Disconnect the iPod USB cable from the iPod charger and from the iPod Touch.
