How to Remove Blood From Pavers
- 1). Put on disposable gloves to protect your hands. Using paper towels, blot up the excess blood from the pavers.
- 2). Saturate a sponge with cold water and two drops of liquid dish detergent. Blot the affected concrete with the soapy sponge to dissolve the blood.
- 3). Rinse the pavers and sponge with water to wash away the blood and soap.
- 4). Examine the pavers for remaining blood. If the stain persists, cover it with a layer of powdered sodium peroxide according to the directions listed on the product's label. Let the powder permeate the stain for the time span recommended by product's manufacturer.
- 5). Moisten the sodium peroxide with water. Scrub the affected pavers with a nylon bristle brush until the blood stain is completely removed.
- 6). Rinse the pavers with plenty of fresh water to wash away the sodium peroxide.
- 7). Pour undiluted white vinegar over the pavers to neutralize any remaining traces of sodium peroxide.
