Can You Clean a Ceramic Tile Floor With Liquid Bleach?
- Combine equal parts water and bleach and add a few drops of dish soap. Apply to the ceramic tiles with a spray bottle and use a nylon brush to scrub the mixture into the tile. Lightly mop the floors with a damp mop, to remove the bleach.
- Hydrogen peroxide is an alternative to bleach for those who have a bleach sensitivity. Ask the Builder recommends oxygen bleach cleanser, which is as strong as traditional bleach, but not as harsh.
- Bleach has a harsh smell that may bother some, especially those with breathing problems. Keep the windows in the room open while cleaning the ceramic tiles. This helps lessen the smell.
