Tips For Ripped Abs

2
Everyone would like to have a great body and probably the single thing which most epitomizes a great body is great abs, a killer six pack.
What better to attract admiring glances and improve our self confidence? Whilst most of us shrug off such thoughts as impossible dreams the strange thing is it is utterly achievable.
Through hard work, goal setting and an optimistic approach it can indeed be done.
Many of us, though, are much better at procrastination than we are at getting on with things.
It is very easy to get stuck in a rut and to carry on with the same unhealthy and dissatisfying routine, day in day out.
It's quite easy to fall into the trap of believing something is simply not possible when in fact it is within reach.
We are, in general, far too good at making excuses, of coming up with reasons as to why something will just never happen.
Here, then, are three tips to help you get on track.
1) Tell people what you are going to do.
Not everyone will believe you but those that do will be supportive - and the fact that you have voiced your plans makes them more real so that you are much more likely to stick to them.
It becomes a matter of pride to follow through.
2) Rather than attempting to do this alone, find a friend (it could be your partner) with similar goals and work alongside them to fine-tune the goals and put them into practice.
An element of competition may develop between you but this is not a bad thing, and you will also be able to encourage and support one another.
It's important that you pick the right person for this, someone with a positive attitude who will help to boost your desire to achieve.
3) Writing down what you want to achieve and how it will affect your life can be hugely effective for some of us.
Make them as detailed as possible, and personal to you.
(For example " I want to lose a stone in weight so that I can wear my red bikini on the beach this summer").
Setting things down in black and white helps to clarify it in your mind, also you can re-read the list to help re-energise you when you are feeling low.
Getting in shape is not easy, and does require hard work.
It's worth it though - you will feel better, look better, be more healthy, and feel more confident.
