CD from Nowhere
I was reading through some of the older stories on here and ran across one that really got my attention. It is titled "Disappearing CDs" from 2007.
This occurred in lower Tennessee in 2002. I attended a friend's birthday party and ended up sleeping over. There were probably about 15 other people that also decided to sleep over as well. I had brought all my CDs to be a makeshift DJ. I had a pretty large collection then, around 150 of the best heavy metal CDs out there.
One of my friends woke me up about 5 a.m. and asked if I wanted to go with him to another friend's place that wasn't so crowded, so I said sure and we took off. I ended up leaving my entire collection of CDs there.
I came back later that day to get them and every single one of them was long gone. To say I was angry was an understatement. There were only about seven or eight that I didn't take with me that night, so they were all I had left. I slowly began to build my collection back, but still hated losing the ones that were stolen.
Around a year after all that, I was about to go to bed, turned off the light and lay down in bed, got comfortable and all that. Just a minute later, I felt something hit me on the leg. I was obviously wondering what in the world was going on, so i jumped up and turned on the light very quickly. To my amazement, there lay one of the CDs I thought had been stolen about a year before!
It's like it fell out of thin air or something. There is absolutely no way that I can think of that it could naturally fall and hit me while in bed.
I had nothing on my ceiling; it just appeared out of nowhere. I've never bothered to tell anyone about this experience on account of, who would really believe me? The really ironic thing about the entire story is that in 2006, someone again stole a couple of my CDs, and that same one was one of the two that were stolen. I wonder if I should keep my eye out for it again?
