Smartphones

• 1). Select "Settings" on your smartphone's menu. Scroll down again until you come to Call Settings. Select "Call Settings."
  
  
• 2). Scroll down and select "Forwarding." Then, choose the forwarding option you want, such as "Forward All Calls."
  
  
• 3). Following the prompts on your smartphone, enter the 10-digit phone number, including area code, where you would like your calls forwarded. Select "OK."
  
  

Traditional Cell Phones

• 1). Dial the correct code. For most, dial "*72," but in some locations, such as Arkansas, Houston, Chicago, upstate New York, Washington D.C. and Indianapolis, it's *71.
  
  
• 2). Dial "1," followed by the 10-digit phone number (including area code) where the call is to be forwarded.
  
  
• 3). Press "Send." Listen for the special tone, which indicates call forwarding has been turned on. Press "End."
