How to Juice Wheatgrass in My Juicer
- 1). Snip the grass you wish to juice ½ inch above the soil. Plucking the grass may pull it up by the roots and prevent regrowth. Snipping with scissors provides a clean cut and encourages your wheatgrass to keep growing.
- 2). Cut about 1 cup of loosely packed grass for every ½ cup of juice you wish to obtain, using a knife. 1/4 cup of leaves should be sufficient for making a single wheatgrass "shot."
- 3). Toss the wheatgrass into your juicer and pack it very gently. Turn the juicer on low and let it work for about a minute. If some of the leaves remain whole, pulse the juicer at 10-second intervals until all the leaves are pulverized.
