How to Upload Photos
- 1). Connect your digital camera to your computer. In order to do this, connect one end of a mini USB cable to the USB port of your camera. Connect the other end of the mini USB cable to the USB port of your computer.
- 2). Click on the digital camera icon that now appears on your desktop. If no icon appears, simply click on your Windows "Start" button. Select "Computer" or "My Computer." Click on the the drive that is showing for your camera.
- 3). Right click on the photos you want to upload to your computer. Select "Send To."
- 4). Select the folder on your computer to which you would like to send the pictures.
- 5). Disconnect the mini USB cable from your camera and computer after your pictures have been uploaded.
- 1). Create an online file storage account, such as the ones offered on File Den, Mozy, Slide and personal websites.
- 2). Log into your online file storage account with the username and password that was created during your account setup.
- 3). Click on the "Upload" option.
- 4). Browse through your computer folders to select the file location of the photo you would like to upload. Click on the photo once you have located the right one.
- 5). Allow the upload process to run. With a high-speed Internet service, this will only take a few seconds. Dial-up will take much longer. Depending upon the website you are using, you may have to click on "Upload" again after clicking on the photograph's file location. This will vary by site.
