How to Remove Asphalt Stains From Pavers
- 1). Put on gloves to protect your hands from the hot water.
- 2). Pour very hot water over the pavers. The hot water will heat up the tar in the asphalt and will soften it.
- 3). Scrape off the tar with a plastic paint scraper.
- 4). Apply 1 drop of liquid dish soap on the asphalt residue.
- 5). Brush the dish soap into the residue with a toothbrush until you remove all of it.
- 6). Rinse the area with more hot water to rinse away any remaining residue and prevent it from cooling and attaching to the paver.
