  • Leg Extensions: Performed by being seated at a slight incline.

    Look straight and use the strength in your legs to lift the weight.
    Slowly lower your body and lower the weight to the floor.
  • Running Sprints: Although it is known as a cardiovascular workout this interval training will trigger great muscle growth in your quadriceps and hamstrings as well as the buttocks.
    This is one of the best lower body workouts around.
As you can see there are other exercises to build up leg muscles other than the traditional leg exercises seen before.
If they are performed with proper form you will see gains faster than just doing extensions or leg curls alone.
