How to Hydrate with Ginger Tea

    • 1). Boil water in a tea kettle, or pour water into a microwave-safe vessel and microwave it according to the manufacturer's instructions to reach a boil.

    • 2). Place a ginger tea bag into a mug. If you prefer a more robust ginger tea, peal a piece of ginger root and cut the exposed ginger into thin slices. Put a teaspoon or more of ginger slices into the mug.

    • 3). Pour hot water over the tea bag or ginger slices into the mug and let it steep for 10 or more minutes, until it reaches your desired strength. Add your favorite sweetener, to taste.

    • 4). Drink the ginger tea to hydrate yourself.
