Learning how to build muscle quickly is one of the most sought after secrets in weight lifting.
Want the secret? Ok, chances are your situation is one of two things.
1.
You're scrawny and want to toss a bunch of muscle onto that brook trout frame before the end of the summer.
2.
You're a decent size but want to be bigger and no matter how much you lift you're getting no where.
Either way, the solution is the same.
You have to focus on certain aspects of your life if you really want this bad.
If you don't really want to gain muscle quickly, please leave this page because you are wasting your time.
Now that I only have those who are really serious reading, here is what you need to focus on.
This is probably beat into your head day in and day out but it's true: Diet Meals, eating healthy is where it's at.
Lean protein and complex carbs will kill it for you.
I once ate nothing but tuna for two weeks to see the effect it would have on me.
I added 9 pounds of solid muscle but ended up with a slight case of mercury poisoning.
So, while I don't recommend you do what I did.
You can see that a lean protein diet will make all the difference.
Foods that I recommend.
Fish Red Meats (cut the fat off) White Meats (cut the fat off) Complex Carbs (brown rice, whole wheat bread) Dairy (moderation is key) Eat little but eat often, every 3 hours will have you on the right track.
Weights You have to lift heavy, lifting light with high or medium reps will get you no where.
Lifting heavy with less reps is the ticket.
Even if you can only get out 4 reps, if your body is done after 4 reps that's fine.
As long as they were solid reps with good form.
If you don't have a membership to a gym and are wanting to gain muscle from home, a full body training program is key, I can't stress full body enough.
