Sony CDX-A30 Model Information
- The CDX-A30 came with a 10-disk CD magazine (part XA10B), mounting hardware and a connector cord. It worked with an optional CSA-8 adapter to play 3-inch CDs. It worked while mounted vertically or horizontally.
- The CDX-A30 featured a 16-bit linear CD audio standard. With a signal-to-noise ratio of 90 decibels and a frequency response of 5 hertz to 20 kilohertz, it delivered excellent audio quality.
- With a robust design, the CDX-A30 operated between 4 and 131 degrees Fahrenheit, and had an anti-skip feature for tough driving conditions. It weighed 6 lb. 10 oz., which was lighter than similar models of its time. It drew 0.8 amperes (800 milliamperes) at 14.4 volts.
