Instructions for Dishwashers
- 1). Remove all food remnants from any dishes or pots before you load them in the dishwasher.
- 2). Load any heavy items on the bottom rack. This includes dinner plates, bowls, pots and pans. Make sure each piece is set sideways and each pot is resting upside down. Load the top rack with lighter items like small plates, glasses and cups. All cups and glasses should be upside down so they don't gather water.
- 3). Place all knives into the specially made areas made for them; some dishwashers contain slots that secure smaller knives and some have small baskets located on the top or side of the dishwasher for knives and longer utensils.
- 4). Fill the detergent dispenser with the dishwasher detergent of your choice. Secure the top, pressing down until you hear a click and the top stays down.
- 5). Adjust the settings on the front of your dishwasher. Some dishwasher have special settings such as pots and pans or delicate ware. Press "Start" to begin the process.
