How to Get Music Off Your Korg M50
- 1). Insert an SD card into the card slot on the Korg M50. From the workstation's main menu, select "Media."
- 2). Scroll through the list of music files currently saved to the workstation's internal memory to locate the files you want to save. Use the "Up" button to change directories, and the "Open" button to view the contents of a folder.
- 3). Press "Save" to access the save options. Choose "Save All (PCG and SEQ)" to save every file in the internal memory to your SD card. This includes all settings, programs, patterns and songs. If you wish to save all songs and cue lists, choose "Save SEQ."
- 4). Save only one song by selecting "Save Song as Standard MIDI File." Select the song to be saved. Press the text edit icon to give the song a new file name, if desired. Choose to save the song as either "Format 0," which saves 16 MIDI channels together as one track, or "Format 1," which saves every MIDI channel to its own track. Choose "OK."
- 5). Remove the SD card from the M50 when you are finished transferring songs.
