Natural muscle building refers to building bigger muscles without the use of controlled substances such as androgenic anabolic steroids.
People have been led to believe that unless you pump yourself with pills and injections there is no way that they will achieve and big, muscular body and nothing could be further from the truth.
To obtain bigger muscles the natural way you should focus on 3 things only: Muscle Overload, Food and Rest.
Muscle overload Muscle overload means making your muscles do more work than what they are used to.
Now this does not mean that the next time you go to the gym you should load the bar with 50 pounds more than what you are used.
No, what I mean by more work is adding 5-10 pounds to the bar per week or adding 1-2 reps to you exercise of choice.
It is simple as that.
Food To gain more muscle you have to eat more food.
Easy right? Not so fast my friends.
Eating more food does not imply eating whatever you want just to gain weight, that's how people get fat.
Instead you should focus on eating more "clean" food such as chicken, whole grains, fruit, peanut butter, milk, etc.
Just remember that if you are gaining more than 1 pound of weight per week you are gaining too much fat.
Rest Rest is always underestimated but it is just as important.
You gain muscle when you rest not when you train (it feels weird, I know).
When you rest you give your body the time it needs to repair the muscles you trained and make them bigger which is what we all want.
Remember that rest is just as important as training when it comes to natural muscle building.
