How to Remove Paint From a Garage Floor
- 1). Put on goggles, gloves and protective clothing.
- 2). Apply a thick single coat of heavy-duty paint stripper to a one to two square foot area using a paintbrush and allow it to set for the amount of time listed on the container.
- 3). Scrape the paint in a circular motion using a wire brush until the paint peels from the floor. Repeat Steps 1 through 3 until the entire floor has been stripped.
- 4). Rinse the paint and stripper away with a pressure washer.
- 5). Mix one capful of laundry detergent with water in a gallon bucket and spread over the entire floor. Scrub floor with a scrub brush broom and rinse with a pressure washer.
