How to Clean Water Spots From a Black Toilet & Sink
- 1). Fill a spray bottle with undiluted white vinegar.
- 2). Spray the black sink thoroughly with white vinegar. Allow the vinegar to sit for five to 10 minutes to loosen any mineral deposits.
- 3). Wipe the black sink to a shine with a clean, lint-free cloth.
- 1). Remove any cleaning tablets from the toilet tank, and flush the toilet. These may contains chemicals such as bleach, which can react with acidic toilet bowl cleaners.
- 2). Close the water supply valve and flush the toilet to empty the bowl of any water.
- 3). Apply a lime remover, toilet bowl cleaner or undiluted white vinegar directly to the toilet bowl. Use enough product to evenly cover the water spots. Do not allow the cleaner to sit longer than the amount of time recommended by the manufacturer. If you use vinegar, allow it to sit for at least five to 10 minutes.
- 4). Scrub the bowl with a toilet brush or scrub brush to remove any water spots.
- 5). Open the water valve and flush the toilet to rinse.
