How to Troubleshoot a Cuisinart DGB-300BK

1
    • 1). Plug the Cuisinart coffee maker into a functional electrical outlet if it is not working. Replace or reset the circuit breaker or fuse if necessary.

    • 2). Close the filter basket cover if the coffee maker has power but is not working. The unit will not function if the filter basket is not positioned properly or closed. Check the lid on the grinder, as the unit also will not operate if the lid is off the grinder.

    • 3). Reset the carafe temperature by increasing or decreasing the temperature if the brewed coffee is too hot or too cold. Press the "+" or "-" buttons to adjust.

    • 4). Disconnect the coffee maker from power if the grinder is not functioning properly or is making grinding sounds but not grinding coffee. Lift the lid on the grinder and empty out the beans. Wipe the container with a clean, damp cloth and look for beans that may have gotten caught, causing an obstruction. Remove as necessary. Dry the container with a cloth before refilling with beans.

    • 5). Replace the carafe in less than 30 seconds if lifted out to pour a cup of coffee while the machine is brewing if the coffee begins to overflow.

    • 6). Contact Cuisinart for any additional assistance as necessary.
