How to Clean a Danby Kegerator
- 1). Turn off the kegerator and unplug from the power supply prior to cleaning.
- 2). Wipe down the exterior of the unit with 2 cups of warm water and a few drops of dish-washing liquid.
- 3). Wipe down the interior of the kegerator with 2 cups of water and 2 tbsp. of white vinegar.
- 4). Dry the interior of the cabinet with a clean cloth. If the device will not be used for several weeks, leave the door open slightly to prevent mold or mildew from accumulating. If the kegerator will be used in the near future, plug the device back into the power outlet and turn back on.
- 5). Remove and clean the beer lines once every three weeks with a beer line cleaning kit, which can be purchased online or in specialty beverage supply stores.
