How to Make a Shamrock Wreath
- 1). Bend the wire coat hanger into a circle.
- 2). Draw a template for a shamrock shape on paper and cut it out. Look at images online for inspiration and keep the shape simple.
- 3). Trace around the paper template on to sheets of craft foam or felt in one or more shades of green to create the shamrock shapes. Glue cardstock to one side of the felt with fabric glue before cutting out the shapes for added support. Cut out the felt or foam shamrock motifs using sharp scissors.
- 4). Arrange the shapes randomly or in a geometric pattern around the wire frame. Hot glue them in position. Secure with strips of masking tape at the rear if necessary.
- 5). Make a large bow out of ribbon or cord and hot glue it in place at the top of the wreath.
- 6). Use the hook of the hanger to hang the wreath up on your door.
