Cutting Take 1
Ill be adding more and more info on this important subjects in the times to come.
The first little tid bit ill start off with is the foundation.
Should I cut or bulk? How do I add muscle and loose fat? What supplements should I take to speed up the process? All common questions newbies pose.
And all a little misunderstood.
Cutting should come into play ONLY when one has enough quality lean body mass or lmb.
If you have no muscle, when you loose the fat you will have abs but you will be skinnier then the abercrombie models and definitely not a bodybuilder.
So if you want to trim down but dont have a fair amount of muscle, or aren't around 10-15 percent bf I suggest trying to put on some muscle while shedding SOME pounds.
This brings me to the next question.
Unless you are a genetic freak and on some serious gear one does not loose substantial amounts of bf and gain substantial amounts of muscle.
This is the reason bodybuilders have off season for muscle building and a cutting period to spare muscle and become artwork.
Now more and more bodybuilders are starting to adapt to the fact that its unhealthy to become a fat blob during off season and that eating the RIGHT amount and the RIGHT carbs will keep them fairly lean and able to guest pose.
This concept can be used to improve definition, shed a little bf and bulk up for the average yokel.
This can be done by carb cycling or other various macro nutrient manipulations (which ill discuss in detail another time).
So if you've decided that you have enough muscle and are ready for a 3 months spree of death then welcome to cutting.
Cutting is all diet and all mental.
There are many theories on how to cut, no carbs, some carbs, all oatmeal, all protein and fat , just protein.
When it comes down to it cutting involves precise dieting, learning your body, taking years to nail and CARB CYCLING...
using the right types of carbs at the right times of the day.
Supplements are useful such as caffeine, asparin and the banned or semi banned? ephedra.
However they are NOT necessary.
Hydroxycut and so on all have pretty much the same stimulants and the same twitching effect.
They shave nil off of your cutting time lasting about 3 months IF used with the proper diet.
My gf is coming over so I need to jet but lets review.
Cutting is a sacrifice you have to be ready for.
You must have a good frame to properly cut.
Cutting is all diet, all mental, and in the end artwork.
Carbs Carb Carbs matter ( which I will discuss later ).
And supplements that can cause high blood pressure, head aches, dizziness, loss of appetite and just an overall weird feeling AKA hydroxycut are NOT needed.
Stay tuned.
more in the future.
