How to Clean Dried Grout Off Ceramic Tiles
- 1). Pry the grout gently where it is attached to your tile, using the oak sticks. Gentle, deliberate and repetitive prodding should help dislodge most of the grout.
- 2). Vacuum the tile and the grout gently as you go. As the grout becomes loose, it will lay over the surface of the tile. If not removed right away, it could scratch or damage the tile finish.
- 3). Pour warm water over the surface.
- 4). Scrub the surface with a nylon scouring pad in a circular motion. The water should help loosen the grip of the grout and the gentle scrubbing motion with the scouring pad will clear the tile surface of haze or dirt, leaving the surface shiny and smooth.
