How to Measure an LCD TV Screen
- 1). Find the two points you will use for measuring your LCD TV screen. The first point will be one of the four corners of the LCD TV screen. This is the corner of the screen and not the frame of the LCD TV. The second point will be the corner that is opposite of the point you originally selected. In other words, if you chose the top left corner for the first point, the second point will be the bottom right corner of the LCD TV screen.
- 2). Place the end of your measuring tape at the first point that you selected in the previous step. Use your fingers to hold the measuring tape down in the corner. Make sure the end of the tape doesn't move or else your measurement may not be accurate.
- 3). Extend the measuring tape until you get to the second point (the opposite corner of the LCD TV screen).
- 4). Read the hash mark on the tape at the point where the measuring tape reaches the second corner. The number you see will be size of the LCD TV screen.
