How to Convert iTunes Music to Verizon V CAST

    • 1). Click the "Start" button located in the lower-left corner of the desktop's screen, and click "All Programs" and "iTunes." Select the iTunes icon to run the program.

    • 2). Click "Edit" at the top of the iTunes menu. Select "Preferences" from the drop-down menu and click the "General" button at the top of the "Preferences" window. Click the "Import Settings" button to open the audio encoding settings.

    • 3). Select "MP3 Encoder" from the drop-down menu and click the drop-down menu below it to view the audio encoding quality options. Select the audio quality you wish to use and click the "OK" button to save the changes.

    • 4). Click "OK" in the "General" window of iTunes' "Preferences" and select the "Music" tab in the iTunes' source list. Right-click the music you want to convert, and click "Create MP3 Version" from the pop-up menu. Alternatively, left-click the song you want to convert and select "Advanced" at the top of the iTunes menu.

    • 5). Select "Create MP3 Version" and drag and drop the songs from the iTunes library to your desktop. Right-click the original songs and select "Delete" from the shortcut menu. Click "Delete" on the pop-up menu to confirm the action.

    • 6). Select "Start" in the lower-left corner of the screen and click "All Programs," "Verizon" and "V CAST Media Manager." Plug the USB 2.0 cable into the USB port on the Verizon phone and plug the other end of the cable into your computer's USB port.

    • 7). Drag and drop the converted songs on your desktop to the "Phones" tab in the V CAST Media Manager and click the "Transfers" tab.

    • 8). Select "To Device" to choose the sync destination for the songs and select the "Start Transfer" button.

    • 9). Wait for the song transfer from your computer to the Verizon phone to complete, and unplug the USB cable from the phone and the USB 2.0 port on the computer.
