  • 1). Locate the chute deflector cable mounting bracket on the discharge chute.

  • 2). Turn the two nuts at the chute cable mount counterclockwise until loose. The nuts should not be removed. The nuts need only be loose enough to move the cable.

  • 3). Adjust the cable mount nuts so the cable end moves up closer to the discharge deflector if you want to raise the discharge chute.

  • 4). Adjust the cable mount nuts downward from the discharge deflector to lower the discharge chute.

  • 5). Tighten the nuts clockwise to secure the chute cable to the mounting bracket.
