Car Shows in Tontitown, Arkansas
- The city of Tontitown, Arkansas might seem like a sleepy little country town, but it's a real find if you're a vintage car buff. Every year this city holds three annual car shows that bring in like-minded hobbyists to show off their rides and swap hard-to-find parts so that collectors can finish beloved projects. All three happen in September, and every once in a while small side shows will come up throughout the year.
- This show is more like a three-day trading event, where classic car owners can purchase spaces to set up and show off their vehicles to other car enthusiasts while trading car parts. Throughout the year these enthusiasts collect classic car parts, whether or not they think they might use them, and then bring them to the show to trade with other collector's in the hopes of finding the rare part they might need to finish up the work on their own model. This event is usually held on Highway 412 in downtown Tontitown around the middle of September.
- This is an annual car show that usually features cars older than 1973. Cash prizes are awarded to collectors with the best cars in two categories, generally cars older than 1948, and cars 1949 and later. This show is held in Tontitown City Park and usually lasts only one day in mid September.
- Rusty Acres lasts a day and a half, also in mid September, where car owners begin by cruising the streets of Tontitown on the first night to show off their cars, and meet with other car lovers to talk about needed parts and the hobby as a whole. The second day is a full day show with cash rewards and a part swap meet. This event is also held on Highway 412 in downtown Tontitown, and this year it immediately follows the Ozark Swap Meet.
