How to Remover Rubber-Based Glue From Stone
- 1). Put on your safety glasses and rubber gloves before opening the container of acetone. Pour acetone on a paper towel. Saturate it.
- 2). Press the soaked towel against the rubber-based glue adhered to the stone. Hold the towel against the rubber cement for several minutes.
- 3). Remove the paper towel and attempt to rub the cement off the stone with the finger or heel of your rubber glove. If all of the rubber-based glue does not come off of the stone, reapply the saturated paper towel to the glue and again hold it there for several minutes before attempting to remove the glue again.
