How to Connect a DLP TV to a Cable Box DVR
- 1). Plug the component video cables into the red, green and blue "Component Out" ports on the digital cable receiver box. Attach the other ends of the cables into the "Component In" ports on the DLP television.
- 2). Insert the RCA audio cables into the red and white "Audio Out" ports on the cable box (these ports are located right next to the "Component In" connections), then connect the other ends of the cables into the "Audio In" ports on the television.
- 3). Turn on the cable box/DVR and the DLP television set. Select the "Source" option, then choose "Component Video" and the cable box programming loads onto the screen.
