How to Replace a Low Beam Headlamp in a G35 Infiniti
- 1). Park the Infiniti on a flat, level surface and set the parking brake.
- 2). Open the hood and prop it open with the hood prop. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- 3). Place a jack under the front center of the frame. Lift the Infiniti until it is high enough to put jack stands under the axles.
- 4). Unclip the four clips from the rear of the fender. There is one clip on each end and two near the center. Remove the two 10mm bolts from the bottom of the fender with a socket wrench and 10mm socket. Pull forward on the fender to remove it.
- 5). Remove the headlamp assembly by taking out the two bolts that hold it in place. Unhook the electrical connection to the headlamp. Plug the electrical connection into the new headlamp and replace everything in reverse order.
