How to Care for Cut Polished Marble
- 1). Place two to three drops of a mild dish detergent into a plastic spray bottle filled with water. Shake the bottle to mix them together.
- 2). Spray the water and soap mixture onto the surface of your marble.
- 3). Wipe the surface with a lint-free cloth until it is completely dry.
- 1). Mix together 1 gallon of water with 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide.
- 2). Place baking soda directly on the stains.
- 3). Apply a small amount of the hydrogen peroxide mixture onto the baking soda. Use a toothbrush to gently clean the stained surfaces, working it in small circles.
- 4). Rinse the area thoroughly with clean water and dry it with a lint-free cloth.
- 1). Mix together 3 tbsp. of baking soda with 1 quart of water.
- 2). Wipe your marble surface with the baking soda and water mixture and allow it to dry. This will take approximately one hour.
- 3). Dip a damp rag into crushed chalk and slowly wipe the marble with it using a circular motion.
- 4). Rinse the area thoroughly with clean water and dry it with a chamois to give it a streak-free shine.
