How to Get Pencil Marks Off White Furniture
- 1). Erase the stain gently using a soft, rubber eraser. This should remove a portion of the stain.
- 2). Wet a white cloth in warm, soapy water and wring the cloth out to get rid of excess moisture.
- 3). Dab the stain with the damp, soapy cloth.
- 4). Blot the stain with a dry, white cloth.
- 5). Moisten a white cloth with ammonia and dab the stain again.
- 6). Blot the stain. Continue dabbing with ammonia and blotting until the mark is gone.
- 7). Dab the stain with a cloth that has been moistened with water. This will remove any traces of ammonia. Blot the area dry once more.
