Ho'oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian practice focusing on clearing your unconscious mind from negative or limiting beliefs.
To use this simple yet powerful tool as a meditation, silently repeat in your mind the four phrases of Ho'oponopono:
  • "I'm Sorry"
  • "Please Forgive Me"
  • "Thank You"
  • "I Love You"
Addressing the Universe with these powerful phrases, you acknowledge that there are universal forces bigger than yourself who can and will erase ill thoughts from your mind.
Using Ho'oponopono and repeating the phrases will keep your attention on your source, controlling your wandering thoughts.
"I'm Sorry" - Take a deep breath and say this phrase silently to yourself.
This is your apology for whatever the situation is that came into your life.
"Please Forgive Me" - Take another deep breath and say this phrase silently to yourself.
With these words, you are asking forgiveness from the universe for having forgotten to live your life with gratefulness and love.
"Thank You" - Repeat silently, breathing deeply, with the acknowledgement and trust in the Universe.
"I Love You" - With yet another breath, say these words and allow the love to swell your body.
Love is The Great Healing Power.
Once you have awareness that the Universe is connecting with you, you'll begin to get answers so, pay attention to what you "see" within your mind during your meditation.
Sometimes, the visions move so fast and there are so many that you can't remember them all after the meditation, but let them flow.
At the end of your meditation, be sure to thank the Universe, not only for this time but also for all it provides to you.
After the meditation is over, it's a good idea to immediately write down any experiences you had in a journal.
Don't worry if you didn't feel that you had a "good" meditation - there is no such thing as a bad one.
Something is accomplished at all meditations, whether you are aware of it or not.
Just keep at it and observe all the mental pictures and "chatter"; then, write everything you remember in your journal.
Eventually, you'll see patterns emerge.
