I want to make something very clear.
Although we are all about positive thinking, helping others and being genuinely kind, we will not be taken advantage of or used in any way.
In your work to be the best you can be also stay alert for people who will only bring you down, or at least not help at all.
There are many forms of negative influence to be aware of.

• Negative Nelly: We all know who these people are.
  They only want to bring you down.
  If you share some exciting piece of positive news with them they will only try to find something bad to say about it.
  We don't want anything to do with such people.
  Let them be.
  Let them have their tiny negative world and just move on past.
  
• Misery: Some people are simply miserable, down in the dumps defeatists.
  And again, nothing you say or do will help them.
  They seem to be void of any outward moving energy.
  These type of people will only suck your life force.
  Once identified, get away and move on.
  
• Violentand Destructive: People who seem to get some type of personal pleasure out of hurting others or destroying something significant fall under this category.
  Never allow yourself to be physically, emotionally, spiritually, mentally, or otherwise abused ever.
  No one deserves it.
  Violence is unacceptable.
  Don't associate with people who try to destroy anything that is yours.
  It might be a physical object or an idea you have.
  Step aside and watch them fall away.
  
• The Trickster: How can I fool you today.
  That's their basic thought.
  Don't let these people fool you.
  They use deception, scheming, trickery, and all the like.
  Rip off artists they are sometimes called.
  To be involved with them is to lose all you have and more.
  Rise above and remain clear.
  
• Back Stabbers: They will take the first opportunity to betray you for their own seeming benefit or advancement.
  This is an extremely dangerous group of people.
  Generally very good at pretending to be on your side; to be your friend or helper.
  The less these types of people know about you the better.
  Reveal nothing to them.
  

There are certainly more types of negative people out there but I think this bunch is to have an eye kept on them closely.
We want to help others and improve life for all we can.
Still, we must not help those that will only bring us down.
Do what you can for who you can and stay away from the rest.
