Disabling Automatic Updates Notification -- Windows XP

• 1). Click "Start," "Control Panel."
  
  
• 2). Double click the "Security Center" icon.
  
  
• 3). Click on "Change the way Security Center alerts me" under the heading "Resources."
  
  
• 4). Click on the check box next to "Automatic Updates" to remove the check mark.
  
  
• 5). Click "OK." You have now disabled Automatic Updates notifications.
