How to Move a Program in a Start Menu
- 1). Click on the "Start" menu button.
- 2). Scroll through the menu choices to find the program that you want to move. Click once on the program to select it.
- 3). Drag the program to the new location in another folder or the programs list, by holding the left mouse key and releasing it when you have reached the target location.
- 1). Click the "Windows Explorer" icon on the Taskbar.
- 2). Navigate to the "Start Menu" folder. This folder contains all of the folders and software links in the Start Menu.
- 3). Navigate to the program link that you want to move.
- 4). Click and drag the link to the destination folder. When modifying the Start Menu in this fashion, it is possible to insert new folders into the menu, enabling you to organize your programs in ways more compatible with your usage.
