Estroven Side Effects
- One of the main ingredients of Estroven is soy, which contains large amounts of phytoestrogens required by our body to maintain hormonal balance. Soy produces allergic reactions in 3 percent of patients using Estroven.
- Estrogen also contains black cohosh, another plant extract, which contains large amounts of phytoestrogens. Black cohosh causes uterine cramping in some patients.
- Estroven, like many supplements, have to be taken along with food for better absorption. The ingredients, although natural, could cause stomach upset due to indigestion on an empty stomach.
- Black cohosh that causes uterine cramping is not recommendable to pregnant women and lactating mothers.
- Though it is a dietary supplement and provides the daily nutrition to maintain energy levels, it is not meant for children below eighteen years of age or males at all because of its hormone balancing formula.
