Adobe Encore

• Adobe Encore allows you to burn DVD and Blu-ray discs. It works on both Mac and PC and supports most audio, video and photo files. The greatest feature to Adobe Encore is that it integrates with other Adobe Products like Photoshop, Premier and AfterEffects.
  
  

DVD Studio Pro

• DVD Studio Pro is Apple's DVD burning software, so it is only compatible with Mac. It integrates with Final Cut, however the integration isn't as seamless as Encore to Premier. Studio Pro comes with many DVD menu templates.
  
  

iDVD

• iDVD is another Apple program for burning DVDs. It is only compatible with Mac and it is the most user-friendly of the three programs. However, it isn't as customizable as the others because you can only adjust the menu templates that come with the program.
  
  

Roxio Creator

• Roxio Creator is a compatible with Mac and PC. A very nice feature in Roxio is that it is also a video editing software. Because of this, there isn't a need to deal with exporting and importing. It also burns Blu-ray, data discs and audio discs.
